My First Week Is In:

Well this week I installed a motor, did several major tune-ups, brake jobs, rear axle shafts, trans line on a diesel.
I don't see this shop staying as busy as I would like, but it's gonna be one of those shops where one minute your swamped and the next minute your dead. I hate this kinda work due to the unknown factors that dealing with the economics of America today and the technology of the automotive industry has more control over my job than I do.
The dealers have longer warranties and gas prices are at a all time high. So I have decided to change some parts of this blog. It will give you more insight into ways to save gas and things to look for in service to help make your new car last longer and go further without leaving you stranded on the road or worse in the junk yard..

I'll start off with the basic items which can be done at any Automitive Repair Shop or some can be done by you...

Tune-ups: How your new car functions, from spark plugs to fuel injection
Suspensions & Related Componets: How your drivability affects your car, from tires to brakes
Air Conditining Systems: From freon to how a system operates.
Miantenance: The do's and don'ts
